CREATED BY THE ROCK & ROLL CHEF® (M Larkin), The Rock & Roll Kitchen® was originally formatted as a television show. Working as a professional chef and musician in Los Angeles, Larkin was inspired during an offhand conversation about doing a show with "a little cooking, a little playing." And The Rock & Roll Kitchen was born.
CALLED "ABOUT 20 YEARS AHEAD OF ITS TIME" (Mark Brown, Rocky Mountain News), the show stretches the boundaries of culinary entertainment. Combining world-class musicians and delectable recipes, the shows are unique, fast-moving and fun. Some musicians who have appeared with the show include Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Tower Of Power, Ginger Baker (Cream), Dale Bozzio (Missing Persons), Steven Adler (Guns N Roses), Jim Keltner (everyone), Lee Sklar (everyone), Todd Sucherman (Styx), Chip Znuff (Enuff Znuff) and many more.
HE HAS PRESENTED THE LIVE VERSION OF HIS SHOW around the country at trade shows, festivals and special events, including the Taste Of Chicago, Milwaukee's Summerfest, the National Restaurant Show, Food Marketing Institute, The Housewares Show and the Produce Marketing Association, to name a few.
