Working as a professional chef and musician in Los Angeles, Larkin was inspired during an offhand conversation about doing a show with "a little cooking, a little playing." And The Rock & Roll Kitchen was born. CALLED "ABOUT 20 YEARS AHEAD OF ITS TIME" (Mark Brown, Rocky Mountain News), the show stretches the boundaries of culinary entertainment. Combining world-class musicians and delectable recipes, the shows are unique, fast-moving and fun. SPECIALIZING IN FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT-RELATED PROJECTS, the Chef also works in design, film making, special events and the packaged food industry. He's done national TV and radio spots for Kraft Foods with "Celebrate Cookin' With Kraft Cheese"; He has also appeared on the nationally syndicated Crook & Chase Show. Most recently, he taped 25 cooking demos exclusively for Sears/Kenmore's Facebook & YouTube channel at Chicago's Kenmore Live Studio. He created the worlds' first commercially available chipotle-flavored bloody mary mix (Totally Chipotle, voted #1 by Chicago Tribune); Superstation WGN-TV and The Bozo Show showcased him demonstrating professional pumpkin carving techniques on their programs. ON HIS MUSIC SIDE, the Chef shares his passion for live, authentic American music with his CCR tribute band, Creedence Again. Widely regarded as the world's premier CCR tribute, they perform around the country at festivals, casinos, theatres and special events; they were even hand-picked over all other CCR tributes worldwide by 3-time Grammy Award Winner Pink to perform for her private party in her hometown of Doylestown, PA in fall 2010.
